Sam Stern is a litigator and trial lawyer specializing in civil and criminal litigation.

Prior to founding Stern LLC, he previously worked at Kobre & Kim LLP, in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney, and as a state prosecutor in Florida and New Jersey.

He is the author of the book The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Cross-Examination (Skyhorse Publishing).

Additionally, Sam teaches trial advocacy to law students and experienced lawyers at the University of Miami School of Law and at the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law.  He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
